About the traineeship program
Lots of impact on megatrends and lots of growth opportunities. That’s what the Boskalis Traineeship is all about. During 18 months, you will complete three different challenging (inter)national assignments, tailored to your education and background. It goes without saying that international assignments can take place anywhere in the world. Before, in between and after the assignments, there's a lot of room to work on your personal development, as you will work with top notch coaches and mentors during a challenging development program.

3. International Operations Traineeship in Offshore opens January 20th (UK residents)
4. International Operations Traineeship in Dredging opens January 20th (Southeast Asia residents)
5. International finance track opens February
6. Fleet management track opens February
Both the international and national track have their own specializations. You can indicate your preference for the international track during application (For Offshore Energy, Dredging or DTED). For the national track, there is one specialization (Boskalis Nederland).

In order to be eligible to apply for the Boskalis Traineeship September 2023: You need to graduate before the starting date of your Traineeship; In general, trainees have up to two years of working experience; For a complete overview of criteria, please check our Traineeship page.
If you are going to be starting with us as a trainee, we will gladly look at the possibilities for bridging any intervening period.
You have two choices: you can opt for a career in the Netherlands or you can embark on an international career. If you choose for an international career, you have to be willing to travel. You will spend one or two five-month periods abroad and will work in the Netherlands for the remaining time.
